The Keillor Stone House and Summer Kitchen Rehabilitation Project was a historical restoration completed in multiple phases to allow for structural repairs. Partial reconstruction of the Stone House was completed at select locations as identified by the project team. The Summer Kitchen was completely disassembled and salvaged early in the project and rebuilt once the structural repairs were completed. Both buildings were constructed out of multiple wythes of full bed fieldstone. Photographs were taken of all elevations prior to removal and salvage. Stones were placed into custom crates with each crate being tagged. Multiple crates were required for each elevation to allow reinstallation to match identical areas previously built prior to removal.
