CSSD Holy Trinity School Modernization

Iwanski Architecture was hired to complete a major modernization of this diverse and growing elementary school in Calgary. The new façade design which includes attractive and durable brick cladding adds to the warm and welcoming feel of the building while not isolating itself from the existing exterior. The juxtaposition of the four kinds of brick demonstrates the richness and variety that presents itself in this material and surrounding community while adding a childlike playfulness to reflect the young students learning experiences found within. The deliberate choice of brick isn’t just about construction—it’s a deliberate and thoughtful design element. Its rich textures and timeless appeal serve as a canvas for our vision, enhancing the architectural beauty and integrity of our educational institution.
