Brewery Building 11

Built in 1913 by a local Strathcona businessman to expand his brewery operations, who then sold to Molson’s in 1958. Extensive interior and exterior multi-wythe brick repairs were required to bring it back to its original state. Selective brick replacement, repointing and cleaning were completed throughout the brick structure. Installation of numerous structural embeds and connections were required into the brick wythes for the installation of new structural beams for the revised floor levels. A new CMU freight elevator shaft was incorporated along with a large lobby feature brick veneer wall with current materials to tie the project into the typical area development.
