Situated on a ridge with an incredible mountain view this home demonstrates how traditional materials can be transformed through modern design and craftsmanship.

This project uses a Norman sized Glen-Gery Ebonite Smooth brick with honed Silver Grey Limestone caps. Light and shadow play off the brick throughout the day, further brought to life by the dynamic texture of the bricks. This interplay not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the home but also highlights the bricks’ character. The brick is used in amenity areas where it absorbs the sun’s warmth and continues to radiate heat once the sun has passed.

The brick was heavily used on the landscape retaining wall at the front of the home to unify the landscape and architecture.
