The architectural strategy incorporates brick as a key element, strategically placed at all entrances and points of contact between the buildings and residents. This intentional use of brick, though limited, serves a dual purpose: providing a robust and durable finishing material at the entrances and defining each unit’s entryway with a distinctive presence, particularly emphasized by the front door at grade.
In the rear sections of the buildings, facing the internal road and pedestrian network, a cast-in-place concrete structure has been seamlessly integrated. This structural choice not only facilitates the optimization of covered parking space, but also supports the creation of expansive exterior balconies for the upper units. The thoughtful combination of materials and structural elements underscores a meticulous approach to both functionality and design aesthetics. The use of brick at entrances adds a tactile and enduring quality, while the incorporation of concrete in strategic areas demonstrates a commitment to efficiency, durability, and the enhancement of outdoor living spaces, creating a harmonious blend of form and function within the architectural design.
