Aspen’s Canadian Brick infill project shows off multiple installation patterns and architectural accents typically found on the most detailed architectural brick projects – Heirloom Homes has done a stunning job on this exterior design to create a special project for this neighbourhood.
Aspen was able to supply a stunning Canadian produced full/face brick for the home from Shaw Brick. The Highlands lineup of clay bricks from the Canadian East Coast, offers a gentle mix of light golden tones with a subtle weathering effect that promotes an attractive natural texture, which adds further character. The combination of custom cut and split Indiana Limestone provides an appealing contrast and a structural accent for visual appeal. Limestone address sign was also sandblasted and painted for the finishing touches.
Combinations of coursing has been used on this Infil – running bond for the main brick pattern was combined with stacked bond and herringbone pattern in some sections. Several design elements were also incorporated into the brick layout – soldier coursing, row locks, quoins, and single unit texturing.
