Raymond Block

This project was a new build located on the Southeast Corner of 105st and Whyte Avenue. It consists of 1 Level of underground parking and 6 floors above grade, plus a mechanical penthouse level. The main floor is comprised of CRU’s, 2nd floor is for office spaces and levels 3 to 6 are residential suites. The North and West elevations which are most visible have a combination of granite and precast to the base of the building with brick veneer above to the 2nd floor parapet. The Northwest corner of the building and Southwest residential lobby access are fully clad with Indiana Limestone.

Above the brick veneer at the 2nd floor parapet the walls are finished with an detailed Indiana Limestone coping which was detailed, engineered and manufactured by Scorpio Stone. Additionally glass block windows were incorporated into the residential lobby on the Southwest corner of the building. The masonry scope also involved the supply and install of a reclaimed salvaged brick feature wall and Basalt stone to a feature fireplace in the residential lobby.
